Pray for Latvia

For those who do not know- this is about the supermarket roof collapse that happened in Latvia just yesterday around 18.00 If you want to know more about it just google.

Long story short- A supermarket's roof collapsed and took away the lives of many. Right now more than 50 victims have been found dead and countless send to the hospital. Though the number rises by the hour as not all of the rubble has been searched yet. I really hope the number won't surpass 100... The scary thing is that it is quite possible. The entire thing is horrible. Children are left without parents as they were just going to the store. It is so scary to realize that you could die at any moment... The stories are very frightening and heart wrecking. I am so relieved that nobody I knew was there. Though some friend-friend's relatives were. I cannot remember the last tragedy that took so many lives in Latvia in just one day.
I guess this is a moment when the best thing we can do is support the victim's families and count our blessings. A moment to realize that the things we oh-so worry about every day are nothing compared to a human's life.
Strange that Latvia's birthday was just 4 days ago as well...
